Dr. Calvin Kim |
Keynote and
Final Charge Speaker
Dr. Calvin Kim is a dentist from Olympia, WA and the co-founder of F5 Challenge, ARME Bible Camp and Venn (Adventist Introduction Service). He currently serves as Pacific Union ASI Vice President for Evangelism. He is passionate about inspiring others to live their best lives and winning souls into God's kingdom. Dr. Kim is married to his beautiful wife Amy of 23 years and together they have two daughters Charis and Caia.
David Buruchara | Mental Health
David Buruchara, M.Ed., LPC-R, is a clinical mental health therapist based in New Market, Virginia, specializing in couples therapy and men's issues. Kenyan by birth and raised across Sub-Saharan Africa, David came to the U.S. to study business at the University of Michigan, where campus ministry became a defining part of his undergraduate years. After five years in the corporate world, he left a promising career to pursue mental health counseling, earning a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Over the past decade, he has spoken on mental health, addiction, and relationships at churches, mission training programs, and youth and men's conferences around the world. He also writes the column Between Worlds for the Adventist Review.
Lou Alfalah | How to do Bible Studies
Lou Alfalah is a Seventh-day Adventist minister currently serving as pastor of the Willow Brook Seventh-day Adventist Church near Hagerstown, Maryland. He was installed as pastor there in October 2023 after serving in the Iowa-Missouri Conference, most recently as pastor of the Sunnydale SDA Church in Centralia, Missouri. He brings broad pastoral experience, a unique personal testimony, and a strong emphasis on hospitality, fellowship, and spiritual growth. Pastor Alfalah has expressed a desire to help his congregation grow closer to Christ while also allowing God to continue shaping his own life and ministry. One of his most enjoyable things to do is to teach others how to study the Bible for themselves and lead others to the Lord through Bible study.
He and his wife, Donna, have been married for more than a decade, and they have a son named Jonah. The family relocated to Maryland when he accepted the call to Willow Brook.
Elijah Ramjattan | Practical Christianity in a Digital Age
Elijah serves as the Campus Ministries Director and Chaplain at Highland View Academy, where he has the privilege of guiding young hearts towards a deeper understanding of their faith. Originally hailing from the captivating land of Canada, he brings a unique perspective to his role. Graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religious Studies from Weimar University, he has nurtured a solid foundation of knowledge and a burning passion for the Gospel. Throughout his life, youth ministry has been an integral part of his journey, firmly believing in the transformative power of investing in the next generation. This all would not be possible without the support of his wonderful wife, Jo-Anna.
Cody Francis | America in Prophesy
Pastor Cody Francis serves as Secretary-Treasurer of Adventist-laymen’s Services and Industries (ASI) for the North American Division of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Before joining ASI in 2026, he served as Ministerial Director for the Michigan Conference, where he focused on pastoral leadership, evangelism, church revitalization, and mentoring pastors. Throughout more than two decades of ministry, Pastor Francis has conducted over 50 evangelistic series in the United States and internationally and has been actively involved in church planting and discipleship ministries. He holds a Master’s degree in Pastoral Ministry from Andrews University and a bachelor’s degree in pastoral ministry from Hartland College. He and his wife, Mandy, have three children and share a passion for leading others to Christ and equipping believers to share their faith in everyday life.
